Legacy
The start of a season is marked by the progress of all characters being restarted back to level 8, with the initial strength, initial gear, and everything.
Legacy is a system which allows you to carry cosmetic items between seasons.
How To Obtain Legacies
Legacies are mostly obtained through the Jewel Shop, which is a currency farmable ingame through quests and by trading through the market.
You can also buy legacies on the jewel shop by using Zoltyum Shards which is a new currency available since Season 2, obtainable through donations.
It is also obtainable ingame, but we don't have enough information about it.
How Does Legacy Works
In some day between the season's first week, you'll receive back all legacies acquired on the previous season through your store inbox in form of an scroll (item).
From this moment on, you have the current choices:
- Click on the item to add the cosmetic and all bonuses from it to your character.
- Trade it with another player.
- Sell them through the market.
Beware:
- Legacy scrolls will only return to the character that bought it from the jewel shop.
- Legacy scrolls bought from the shop won't return back to your character on the next season.
This being said:
- You can buy several units of the same cosmetic, guaranteeing one for your character, and others to trade in the next season.
- It doesn't matter what you do with your cosmetics along the era, when a new season starts, you'll get back everything you bought from the jewel shop.
