Fishing

Fishing is one of the professions you can enjoy on Zoltyum.

Unlike other systems you can spawn bosses just by fishing, getting items that can be usable on gear upgrading, relics or even boss coins

Every fishing try will cost you energy points depending on the rod you're using.

It does have a chance of failure, consuming your energy points, and leaving an unsuccessful message instead.

How To Fish

Getting An Cheap Fishing Rod

First of all, buy a Cheap Fishing Rod on Gabel NPC.

Starting The Job

To start fishing, go to the fishing island and use your fishing rod on these yellow fishes jumping on the water.

Fishing Categories

Regular Fishes

Depending on your luck, you can catch regular fishes in which you can sell on Fisherman Jack NPC.

Regular fishes are send straight to your backpack and the message below will be shown.

"You have fished 1x [item name]."

Monsters

Monsters are an uncommon catch, they have the same power as a regular monster, but giving you some more money.

When you catch a monster, the message below will be shown.

"Something strong is pulling your fishing rod! You fished [monster name] and got 1x crystal coin."

Bosses

Bosses are stronger monsters which yields the most valuable loot from fishing, like:

• Jewels (To the fisherman who caught it)
• Relics (Rare loot)
• Boss Fragments (Rare loot)
• Boss Coins (Always)
• Upgraders (Always)
• Mastery Stones (Always)
• Midnight Shards (Always)

When bosses are caught, a global broadcast is send to the entire server, so everyone can join and have fun.

The message below will be shown.

"The ancient evil monster [boss name] has been awaken by [player name] fishing power!
Head to the teleport in the temple to find your way to the island to help"

Fishing Rods

Based on the rewards, fishing rods will require more skills to be used, and will require a higher amount of energy points too.
Higher level rods can catch lower level rod bosses with a higher chance.
