Currencies are commonly used to trade with NPC's or players.
Below, there is a list of all currencies (including customs) and the main thing they can be used for.
Gold Coin 
/ Bar of Gold 
- Used to buy stuff from regular NPC's.
- Used on the Market
- Used to Transfer Bonuses between gears.
- Used on Champion Challenge.
Royal Shadow Coin 
- Used on the Market
- Used to Transfer Bonuses between gears.
Veteran Token 
- Used on Mystic Forge
- Used on Karma Shop
- Used on Crafting
Elite Token
